receptionist didn't understand much English... motel is located on the "outskirts" of the city and there are a lot of homeless people in the area... carpet and armchairs were stained.

A bit old-fashioned but a warm welcome in a place where French people are rarer.

This is simple accommodation with historical charm. Historically in the American sense, from the 1950s. You have to like it, it is not uniformly styled, but has stood still in time, in a positive sense. Excellent for an overnight stay, especially since the car can be parked right next to the room in a garage. The neighborhood does not make the most original impression at first glance and the pulsating city center is a few minutes' drive away again, but ideal when you look into the second row, because you will find a brewery, wine bar and various restaurants (also away from the usual fast food). The bed was great too.

not much i can think of. reception was a bit taciturn for an american, well it was already after 8 pm. next morning we met the former owner, who probably still lives here, she pointed out the possibilities of colorado springs. that was a different drive.

typical motel like you see in the movies. you drive your car right up to the door. that's very convenient. rooms are always separated by the carport.

A little out of date. A little renovation wouldn't hurt.
